Vintage Champagne & Black Beaded Lace Evening Bag

This vintage beaded evening bag stopped us cold the moment we found it. The kind of piece that belongs at a black tie gala, a holiday dinner, a New Year's Eve that deserves to be remembered. The kind of piece Bobby would have carried without a second thought and never put down.

The body is champagne gold fabric overlaid with black lace appliqué — trailing vines, scrolling leaves, and full blooms cascading across the entire surface in the most romantic pattern imaginable. But it is what happens next that elevates this from beautiful to breathtaking. Every edge of every lace motif is outlined in iridescent beading — black seed beads and bugle beads that shift from midnight black to deep cobalt to violet depending on the light, catching every candle, every chandelier, every glance cast your way across a room.

The frame is antiqued gold metal, engraved with a Greek key scroll pattern that runs the full perimeter — ancient and elegant, the kind of detail that belonged on a Roman coin. At the center top, the kiss-lock closure is crowned with a small faceted crystal dome. The handle is a bold antiqued gold semicircular ring, also engraved, that sits like a piece of sculpture above the bag. Open it and find a clean black satin interior with an interior zip pocket and black grosgrain wrist strap.
