The base is an ivory white linen-rayon blend with just enough weight to drape beautifully and just enough lightness to breathe in warm weather. And from collar to scalloped hem, red roses and buds climb across vine stems in deep crimson, dusty pink, and warm taupe, with dark green leaves turning and curling between them. The embroidery runs the full length of the front placket on both sides, across the chest, down the sleeves, and densely across the entire hem border. Nothing was left plain.
